How to download and install
You need to download and install MT4 or MT5 first. Please complete the download and installation from below. The site below is in Japanese, but you can switch the language from the top right of the web page. There is no charge to download and you can use it completely free of charge.
In addition, MT4 and MT5 also have smartphone and iPhone versions. You can download and install it from below. It can be set as basic, standard or custom. You can trade on the market using both PC and mobile devices. Mobile devices are especially convenient.
Open MT4/MT5
Start the tool that has been installed. In the case of the PC version, setup will start, so click “Next” and wait until it is completed. After the setup is completed, a screen will open saying “Access all MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 services”, but it is not necessary and can be closed. For apps, just tap the tool and you’re good to go.
For PC version
Select server
When the setup is finished, Exness’s MT4/MT5 will automatically start up and the screen “Please select an appropriate server” will be displayed. Select the server name of the account you want to log in from the list and click the “Next” button.
Enter your login ID and password
Check “Existing account” and enter your account login ID and password. Click Finish to launch the tool. In the case of the PC version, the following screen will start.
For smartphone version
In the case of the smartphone version, you will be able to see the following quotes.
From there, tap “Account Management” from the menu list. Then tap the “+” in the upper right.
Tap “Login to existing account”.
A search box will appear, enter “exness”. Tap the target server from the displayed list.
It will be a login and password input screen, so if you enter and log in, the information of the account you logged in will be displayed. You are done.
how to trade
Now let’s talk about how to start trading. This is explained separately because the operation differs between the PC version and the smartphone version.
For smartphone version
Please display the currency pair you want to trade in “Quotes”. On the quotes screen, tap the small “+” button at the top right of the screen. You will then see a list of stocks that you can trade. Choose your favorite brand.
A list of currency pairs is displayed. You can add it with the + button. In the case of MT5, you can add just by tapping the currency pair.
Check the quoted price and if it has been added, it is OK. Next, start trading. Press and hold the currency pair displayed in the quotes. Since the menu opens, let’s tap “Chart”. You can display the chart, so tap “Trade” in the upper right.
An order screen will appear.
- “Order method”: Select from market order or limit order
- “Number of lots”: Enter directly or tap to increase/decrease
- “Stop Loss”: Enter the loss cut line
- “Take Profit”: Enter the take profit line
Click the buy or sell button to complete the order.
For PC version
Press the right mouse click on the Market Watch. Since the menu opens, let’s click on “Currency Pairs”. The currency pair list will open, so select the stock you want to trade and click the “View” button. Once this is done, the “Market Watch” screen will display all exchange currency pairs that can be traded. From this list, select the currency pair you want to actually trade.
Click on the small “▼” mark on the upper left of the chart. You will see a banner that allows you to place an order with one click. Simply press the “SELL” or “BUY” button to place an order immediately.
